Biography
Trevi Moran, an American pop singer, first appeared on YouTube in 2008 at the age of ten. Her online audience expanded considerably, most notably during her time with the O2L crew (Our 2nd Life), before she established herself as a solo performer. The 2011 release of her debut single, “Bust the Floor,” was followed in 2012 by an audition for The X Factor on LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It.” Although she was cut during the boot camp rounds, she kept issuing tracks through online platforms.
September 2013 brought the K-pop-inflected electronic track “Someone,” with “The Dark Side” arriving that December. Her debut EP, XIAT (“Anxiety”), followed in December of the next year and reached the top of the Billboard Heatseekers chart. A 2015 duet with former O2L associate Ricky Dillon produced “Steal the Show.” That same year Moran came out as gay, a step that shaped the tone of her next EP, Alive. The assured five-song project surfaced in 2016 and included the shimmering midtempo single “I Wanna Fly.” In 2020 Moran came out as transgender and released the EP Freedom.
