Biography
Troop 41, the hip-hop outfit from Raleigh, North Carolina, surged onto the charts in late 2010 on the strength of their novelty rap single “Do the John Wall.” T-Breezy, Lil Lee, and Lil Inferno had formed the group in 2005 and created the track after seeing NBA basketball player John Wall execute the celebrated dance, a move that Wall himself had first encountered in the video for rapper Kenzo’s song “Do the Shizz.”
