V.I.C.

Hailing from Atlanta, the rapper V.I.C. entered the scene in 2008 through his ties to Soulja Boy, launching with the snap music single "Get Silly." Bearing a close resemblance to the 2007 chart-topper "Crank That (Soulja Boy)," the track was crafted by Soulja Boy, put out on Young Mogul/Warner Bros. Records, and first showcased on BET's 106 & Park on February 14, 2008, prior to gaining traction several months afterward. That partnership carried over when V.I.C. secured an opening spot on Soulja Boy's 21 & Under Tour featuring Lil Mama throughout spring 2008. Later that summer, his initial album Beast arrived.
