Biography
Erie Loch, a veteran of the industrial underground, launched Wiccid as an electro-industrial synth pop outlet. Operating from Sacramento, California, the producer first earned recognition for his songwriting and frequent remixes on behalf of Ministry, Velvet Acid Christ, Lords of Acid, and Revolting Cocks, among additional clients. He initially ran the project alone, shaping a hybrid that merged the dark pop leanings of Depeche Mode and Gary Numan with the harder industrial textures of Front Line Assembly and Sister Machine Gun. Following the 2017 release of the debut album By Design on Cleopatra Records, Crash entered the lineup on keyboards and backing harmonies, later accompanying Loch on tour as Wiccid’s second member.
