Biography
Following the evolution of Immature into IMx, Jerome "Romeo" Jones adopted the moniker Young Rome and moved to claim territory in pop-rap. During spring 2004, after taking a supporting part in the B2K motion picture You Got Served, Rome issued the single "After Party," which opened with a vocal from his B2K associate Omarion. "Welcome to my after party/Hope that you're feeling naughty" — its restless rhythms and overt message rendered the track hedonistic filler directly descended from the Cassidy/R. Kelly pairing "Hotel" and Chingy's "Holidae In." Universal scheduled the complete album Food for Thought for June.
