Biography
A French singer and songwriter, Zoë Avril issued her self-titled debut album in 2008. Her arrival came on October 7, 1980, in Nantes, France, after which an October 2007 offer of a recording deal arrived from Mercury Records once visibility followed her appearance on Jury Jeunes Talents, the online talent contest backed by French mobile operator SFR. Released about six months later, the full-length project Zoë Avril (2008) gained inventive exposure through assorted online outlets. Crafted by producers Xavier Plèche, Romuald Gablin, and Maël, the album posted modest chart results at number 74 on the French albums ranking and introduced the promotional single "On Ne Changera Pas le Monde."
