Biography
Emerging as one member of the Brooklyn rap trio Flatbush Zombies, MC Zombie Juice built his reputation alongside the crew throughout the 2010s by supplying incisive rhymes inside their psychedelic-driven sound. His first standalone project arrived in 2023 with the luminous and introspective album Love Without Conditions.
Antonio Lewis, who grew up in Brooklyn, New York, launched his career alongside childhood companions Demetri Simms and Erick Elliott. Adopting the monikers Zombie Juice for Lewis, Meechy Darko for Simms, and Erick the Architect for Elliott, they assembled Flatbush Zombies, drawing the name from their local Flatbush neighborhood. The three began issuing material in the early 2010s and cultivated underground attention through the initial mixtapes D.R.U.G.S. and BetterOffDEAD. Their hallucinogenic aesthetic, fluid successive verses, and drug-focused themes quickly attracted a devoted following beneath the mainstream, paving the way for wider recognition via the 2016 debut album 3001: A Laced Odyssey. Functioning as a clipped and biting foil to the weighty delivery of Meechy and the polished tone of Erick, Juice’s contributions injected brisk momentum and a cutting precision into the tracks—an approach he extended across the follow-up studio effort Vacation in Hell (2018) and the joint release Escape from New York (2019).
Following the 2020 EP Now, More Than Ever, the collective entered a partial pause as each artist turned toward individual endeavors. Juice opened his solo chapter with successive singles such as the hazy “Alto,” the melodic “Hikari,” and the pounding “Dizzy.” He then unveiled his debut solo LP in 2023, Love Without Conditions, a ten-track collection marked by its notably expansive atmosphere.
