Abe Parker crafts alternative pop as a singer, songwriter, and producer, matching candid and reflective words to memorable melodies over inviting, soul-infused production. His 2021 track “Empty House” brought initial notice, while the 2022 release “Butterflies” delivered widespread commercial breakthrough after a brief clip circulated widely online and compelled him to finish the recording.

Born in the modest Ohio community of Blue Rock, Parker grew up in rural Texas, absorbing influences across numerous genres. Once high school ended, he relocated to Austin to focus on music professionally. Working as an engineer, he refined his songwriting, mixing, and production abilities in a home setup, issuing a self-titled EP in 2014 and the album Home Park in 2018. He also supplied songs and production for David Kushner, Marc E Bassy, Lecrae, Hulvey, Brent Morgan, and Crowder. Momentum built in 2021 when “Empty House” and “Stupid Face” drew international listeners. Early the next year a short excerpt from an unfinished piece spread rapidly, prompting Parker to complete “Butterflies,” a song centered on love and hope that amassed millions of streams and elevated his soulful alt-pop sound. He followed its impact in 2023 with the singles “Puppet on a String” and “Until Now.”
