Biography
Growing up in Missouri before establishing himself in Los Angeles, electro-pop specialist Adam Tyler absorbed the vivid influences of the Spice Girls, TLC, Madonna, Robbie Williams, and the Fugees during his teenage years. A short enrollment at the Berklee School of Music in Boston preceded his attempt to relocate to the U.K. in pursuit of commercial pop forerunners such as Kylie Minogue and Robyn, yet immigration officials rejected his entry and returned the disappointed artist home the very same day. A move to Los Angeles proved far more fruitful, yielding the locally popular demo Lullabies for Rattlesnakes along with the infectious, club-ready single "Friction," which soon served as his signature track. His first full-length studio album, Shattered Ice, appeared in August 2011 via the independent Trending Records label.
