Dutch pair ANOTR craft polished, high-energy house tracks rooted in classic disco, funk, soul, and jazz. Operating out of Amsterdam, the act began issuing material in 2015, created their NO ART label in 2017, and have remained fixtures at clubs and festivals across the globe ever since. Ahead of their first full-length album, they delivered multiple EPs and singles such as 2017's Help and 2020's Retpoid Meetings; their debut LP arrived as The Reset in 2022. Further singles followed, among them 2024's "24 (Turn It Up)" recorded with Kurtis Wells.

The producers and DJs Oguz Han Guney and Jesse Van Der Heijden comprise ANOTR. They surfaced toward the close of 2015 with local Amsterdam gigs and the EPs Strobe on DFTD and Want My Love via Snatch! Records. In 2016 they returned with another DFTD EP titled Mighty Kingdom and the Avotre single "What Is House." ANOTR inaugurated NO ART through their 2017 revision of Armand Van Helden's "Funk Phenomena" and followed with additional EPs and singles that year, among them Help and "Boogieman." They kept releasing on NO ART alongside imprints such as Material Series and Solid Grooves Records, issuing highlights like 2018's "Summer in the Studio" and 2019's "Turn on Me." The EPs Don't Mind Ya Weight, Retpoid Meetings, and Paint a Picture all surfaced in 2020.

The 2021 collaboration Due EP with Toman appeared next, succeeded in 2022 by EXPO Series 001, a set of previously unreleased club tracks. ANOTR then joined Abel Balder on the singles "Vertigo," "Your Mind," and the widely embraced "Relax My Eyes," each echoing vintage disco and boogie flavors. The Reset incorporated two of those cuts plus tracks featuring Willem Mulder, KAMAE, and King Wonder Bread. In 2024 ANOTR released the singles "How You Feel" with Erik Bandt and Leven Kali plus "24 (Turn It Up)" featuring Kurtis Wells.
