AronChupa

Hailing from Boras, Sweden, where he entered the world in 1991, Aron Michael Ekberg shifted from his beginnings as a soccer athlete to operate as the DJ and electronic producer AronChupa, crafting dance tracks infused with electro and hip-hop textures. Public notice first arrived through his stint on the fourth-division side Byttorps IF. In 2012 he assembled the electronic collective Albatroaz with fellow squad members Måns Harvidsson, Nicklas "Savvo" Savvolainen, Andreas "Andy" Reinholdsson, and Sahlberg "Salle" Rasmus. The outfit unveiled its opening single, "I'm an Albatroaz," in August 2013, spotlighting vocals by Ekberg’s sister Nora Ekberg; the track reached number 36 on Sweden’s singles chart and later secured gold certification. AronChupa and Albatroaz followed with their next release, "Arriba," the year after.
