Biography

During his enrollment at the University of Minnesota, Atom—also known as Troy Frank—first entered dance music by writing multiple compositions for theater and dance productions. His subsequent focus on MIDI music programming opened opportunities to produce other artists and contribute programming work for labels such as EMI Gramophone, Paisley Park, and RCA. In addition to conducting "sound experimentation" for the renowned software company Steinberg, he released his debut recording, You're Not Alone, in November of 2001.
