B Young

Emerging from Hackney in East London, rapper B Young entered the music landscape in 2017 through the single "Been Wavey," reflecting an eclectic style drawn from wide-ranging influences. Spanning dancehall to Afrobeat, his broad musical preferences merged with production ability to shape a polished, sun-soaked form of hip-hop. Before issuing his own recordings, he accumulated several years of experience as a sound engineer throughout London. Capitalizing on the foundation laid by "Been Wavey," he issued the standout track "Jumanji" in early 2018, which secured a recording contract with Columbia Records. Later that summer came his next release, the third single "079Me," before he launched a nationwide tour in November.
