Biography
Mexican musicians founded Banda Pachuco in Los Angeles during 1993. The ensemble issued its first recording, Pachuco Bailarin, whose title track promptly ascended the regional Mexican charts. On April 2, 1994, the group gave a triumphant concert at a local sports arena, an appearance that coincided with its selection as Revelation of the Year. Platinum certification arrived with 1995's Sabor a Chocolate, confirming the band's stature among leading acts in traditional Mexican music.
