Biography
Forming in 1972 under the name Beast, the British hard rock group Bedlam brought together singer Frank Aiello, previously of Truth, guitarist Dave Ball from Procol Harum, bassist Dennis Ball after his time with Long John Baldry, and drummer Cozy Powell, who had worked with Jeff Beck. The quartet recorded a lone self-titled album in 1973 under the guidance of producer Felix Pappalardi, noted for his earlier work with Cream and his role in Mountain, before splitting apart the next year.
