Biography
Swedish DJ and producer Bella Boo, now based in Los Angeles, crafts inventive left-field electronic pop and house music. Notice has followed her albums, notably the 2019 release Once Upon a Passion and DreamySpaceyBlue from 2023.
Born in Stockholm, Gabriella Borbély works as an electronic musician and DJ under the name Bella Boo. Early online attention arrived via EPs such as Fire and Supervillian. Those projects set the stage for her debut album Once Upon a Passion in 2019, which included singers Gnučči and Def Sound plus trumpeter Nils Janson and bassist Axel Boman. Further EPs appeared with 2020’s Let’s Go Out and Looney Talks in 2023. The latter year also brought her second full-length DreamySpaceyBlue, featuring contributions from VAZ, Bavé, and Starving Yet Full.
