Biography
Formed by veterans from the German extreme metal circuit, including multiple alumni of Sodom, Bonded came together in 2019 and delivered a style built on neck-snapping traditional thrash laced with pummeling groove metal. Bernd Kost on guitar and Markus Freiwald on drums, both formerly of Sodom, joined forces with second guitarist Chris Tsitsis of ex-Suicidal Angels, bassist Marc Hauschild, and vocalist Ingo Bajonczak from Assassin. Century Media put out the group’s critically acclaimed debut full-length, Rest in Violence, in 2020. Cornelius Rambadt, whose prior credits include Sodom, Disbelief, and Onkel Tom, also produced the equally ferocious follow-up Into Blackness, which surfaced in 2021.
