Chicken P

Emerging from Milwaukee's vibrant yet unconventional underground rap community, Chicken P occupies a central position through his laid-back yet distinctive flow, idiosyncratic persona, and penchant for sonic exploration, all of which define the city's Slap Movement and its singular local approach to the genre. His frequent output has populated mixtapes, singles, and projects, among them the 2024 full-length Hardest N***a Livin'.

Also recognized under the names Little Chicken and Big Chicken, the Milwaukee rapper launched his recording career near 2016. His sound, built on bass-heavy trap production, unconventional melodies, and incisive lyrics detailing street hustling and drug dealing, gained traction in the city and helped shape surrounding waves of influence. Early material surfaced on the 2018 mixtape Chicken Scratch and the 2020 album Strictly 4 Tha Streetz. Work alongside MKE Verified and Yung Bleu preceded later solo releases that included the 2022 mixtape BussaBrick, Vol.1: Deep in the Pot as well as the 2024 EP 4EvaLit and the full-length Hardest N***a Livin', all issued through his Really Rich Empire imprint and licensed to 10K Projects.
