Cilver

Hailing from New York, the hard rock outfit Cilver fuses defiance with a shadowy sonic palette. Vocalist Uliana Preotu and guitarist Leon Lyazidi, each a former member of the Universal-signed band MeTalkPretty, launched Cilver in late 2013 and enlisted Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal of Guns N' Roses to shape the group's first single, "In My Head." An EP carrying the identical title surfaced in early 2014, earning the act a berth on Revolver magazine's Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock Tour alongside Sick Puppies, Lacuna Coil, and Eyes Set to Kill. As first-generation immigrants, Preotu and Lyazidi channel a singular, motivational perspective into Cilver's heavy rock approach, which secured a contract with Entertainment One Media in 2015. After unveiling the lead single "I'm America" in late 2015, the band issued its debut full-length, Not the End of the World, in spring 2016.
