Biography
Daniel Meier of Haujobb launched Newt as an initial side project steeped in ambient textures, yet turned next to Cleen, whose industrial dance and electronica leanings sit nearer to the sonic profile of his main band. Designed Memories served as Cleen’s debut album in 1998, followed by Second Pass the year after.
