Comprised of sisters Charlotte and Sarah Command, the Command Sisters fuse bracing dance-pop, sharply drawn alternative rock, and striking fashion choices that recall the forward-thinking pop sensibilities of performers such as Sia and St. Vincent. Their debut single, "I Can Do What I Want To," appeared in 2020, followed the next year by "Rain on My Parade" and "Chameleon."

Raised in a small Alberta town, Charlotte and Sarah started performing together during their early teens. Their natural sibling harmonies led them to begin as a country-folk outfit. After sharpening their abilities at home, they ventured south for prominent Nashville appearances, completed an Asian tour, and claimed first place in the renowned John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Their 2016 move to Toronto prompted a shift toward pop, merging their precise harmonies and instrumental abilities with assertive production, adept use of social platforms, and a vivid visual identity centered on black, red, and white tones that signaled their growing assurance.

Citing inspirations including the 1975, Alanis Morissette, Hall and Oates, and the Weeknd, the Command Sisters delivered a series of polished 2020 singles—"I Can Do What I Want," "I Like It," "Lonely Lullaby," "Feel Good," and "Steal Your Heart"—that elevated them within Toronto’s pop community. The additional tracks "Rain on My Parade" and "Chameleon" followed in 2021.
