Biography
In the closing years of the 2000s, Cours Lapin assembled around the abilities of Danish film score composers Asger Baden on keyboards, Louise Alenius handling vocals, Peder supplying keyboards and production, and Jonas Struck on guitar. The ensemble concentrates on atmospheric pop infused with cinematic elements and rooted in the French chanson style. Their work carries a moody, romantic, and brooding character, shaped by visual motifs drawn from ongoing exposure to films by David Lynch, Jean Pierre Jeunet, and Tim Burton. Fake Diamond Records issued the band's self-titled debut album in 2010.
