Biography
Known for their Christian rock sound, Deas Vail—whose name translates to “God’s Humble Servant”—spotlights the falsetto vocals of Wes Blaylock alongside guitarist Andy Moore, drummer Kelsey Harelson, keyboardist Laura Beth Hudson, and bassist Jonathan Childs. The group formed in central Arkansas in 2003 and toured extensively for several years before drawing the notice of dc Talk’s Mark Lee Townsend, who placed them on his Brave New World Records roster. Their EP Collapse appeared in 2006, followed one year later by the full-length album All the Houses Look the Same.
