Biography
Disiplin, a Norwegian black metal group, came into existence during 2000 when ex-Myrkskog musician General K assumed duties on lead guitar and bass. Ausslavia on vocals, Krig on rhythm guitar, and Nex on drums completed the lineup, after which the act secured a deal with Moonfog Productions. The self-titled debut, issued in the opening months of 2004, incorporated contributions from associates including Samoth and Bard "Faust" Eithun—both formerly of Emperor—and revived the raw, foundational approach to black metal first defined by Mayhem and Darkthrone while making limited reference to later stylistic advances.
