Ebenezer, born in London, functions as a songwriter, producer, and vocalist who fuses R&B, pop, and modern rap forms such as trap and drill. His candid and introspective words convey reflections on faith through the 2018 album 53 Sundays, on personal connections via the Bad Romantic series, and on his ongoing pursuit of achievement. Beyond his individual output, he has collaborated with various pop, hip-hop, and dance figures such as Stefflon Don, Ty Dolla $ign, Duke Dumont, and SuperM.

Born to Nigerian parents as Ebenezer Fabiyi, he spent his early years in Hackney and later relocated to North London. Although his family encouraged higher education, he chose to focus on music. Prior to his own recordings, he contributed songwriting for figures including Craig David and Nabiha, then appeared as a guest on ADP's track "No Good for Me," which also included Jeremih. His first solo release came with the single "Cliché," which addressed his wish to convey intimate emotions through his art instead of focusing on material themes. Further tracks such as "Ask Around" and "Survival" arrived afterward, followed by the debut EP Bad Romantic in early 2018.

He contributed vocals to house producer Duke Dumont's single "Inhale" as well as to Fakear's album All Glows. The single "When I Call Em," which featured A Boogie wit da Hoodie, came before his initial full-length project 53 Sundays, an album centered on his examination of belief. Following partnerships with Michael Calfan and K-pop group SuperM during 2019, Ebenezer, now based in Los Angeles, returned to solo releases in 2020 with the EPs Bad Romantic II and 2.5, along with tracks including "Flaws and All" (which received a Lil Durk remix) and "3am in LA" (featuring Stefflon Don).
