Biography
Echoing Angels, a Christian rock outfit initially known as Two Bare Feet, came together in 1999 when drummer Jon Poole and bassist Josh Armour launched the project. Singer Chris Peevy joined shortly afterward, as did guitarists Shannon Cochran and Jared Lee, rounding out the roster. Following an extended stretch on the independent Christian circuit, the track “You Alone” began attracting substantial radio exposure in the group’s hometown of Atlanta, which drew the notice of INO Records. The label signed Echoing Angels in 2006—an agreement that triggered a name change to resolve copyright conflicts—and issued the band’s debut album, You Alone, before the year ended.
