Biography
Pennsylvania native Aaron Shust, a contemporary Christian singer and songwriter, relocated to Georgia and immersed himself in music theory studies that shaped his professional path. He captured his debut full-length, Anything Worth Saying, in 2004, securing a recording contract with Brash Music shortly afterward. That project ranked as the fifth-highest-selling praise-and-worship album of 2006 and spawned the radio favorite “My Savior My God,” which ascended to the summit of multiple format charts and earned Shust the Dove Award for Best Song. His sophomore effort, Whispered and Shouted, arrived during summer 2007, posted strong commercial numbers, and spotlighted the single “Give Me Words to Speak.” The 2009 album Take Over preceded a Christmas EP, after which 2011’s This Is What We Believe delivered the chart-topping track “My Hope Is in You.” Ed Cash produced Shust’s fifth studio album, Morning Rises, which surfaced in 2013; the following year the artist issued his first complete holiday collection, Unto Us. Doxology appeared in 2015, and Love Made a Way followed in 2017.
