Emerging onto the scene in September 1999, Spanish pop/rock quartet El Hombre Burbuja launched their career with the issuance of a self-titled debut album. Assembled around singer/guitarist Julio de la Rosa, drummer Antonio G., ex-los Grandes bassist Mariano H., and keyboardist Sergio M., the band resurfaced the following February via the five-song EP El Té de los Locos, then delivered the full-length Nadando a Crol, recorded in Madrid under the guidance of producer Kaki Arkarazo. That same year the group’s track “¿Por Qué No?” was included in the film Gente Pez.
