Biography
Rooted in rave culture, Fierce Ruling Diva nevertheless weaves in chill-out ambience through Jeroen Flamman and Jeff "Abraxas" Porter. The pair came together in Amsterdam, issuing their debut single "I Don't Wanna Be a Freak" in August 1989. After founding Lower East Side Records and three nightclubs in the vicinity, the duo handled production on thirteen releases for assorted European labels. Nine singles later, FRD surfaced in June 1991, followed the next year by Anarchic Adjustments. Their first domestic album, Revolt of the Perverse, appeared on Astralwerks in mid-1993.
