Rozalla

Hailing from Zimbabwe, Rozalla secured her initial breakthrough in the early 1990s by serving as lead vocalist for the Band of Gypsies production team. The 1993 single "Everybody's Free" rose to major success and earned her the enduring nickname "Queen of Rave." An album followed soon afterward, and she stayed a regular presence on dance charts throughout Europe and America for the rest of the decade, although 1995's Look No Further shifted toward stronger R&B and soul leanings than her prior releases.
