Fistula

Hailing from Akron, Ohio, Fistula brings together guitarist/vocalist Corey Bing, bassist/vocalist Bahb Branca, and drummer Aaron Brittain. The trio channels a grinding doom and sludge metal approach reminiscent of Earthride, Cavity, and Bongzilla, among others. Since forming in 2000, they have issued two full-length albums—2001’s Hymns of Slumber and 2003’s Idiopathic—while appearing on multiple compilations and split releases, including the 2004 Split with feedback terrorists Burmese.
