Biography
Formed by Markus Boehme, born in July 1972, and Martin Hensing, born in January 1973, the German electronica ensemble Future Breeze entered the regional dance scene once they forwarded a demo to Klaus Derichs and Marc Romboy of the independent label Alphabet City. Their debut hit single, “Read My Lips,” appeared shortly afterward.
Markus Boehme took organ lessons while Martin Hensing studied flute, and the two later began creating electronic material by programming on a home computer, issuing their earliest tracks under the project name Synthetic Compulsion. Following the release of “Why Don’t U Dance With Me?” and the chart-topping “Keep the Fire Burning,” Serge Menga came aboard to produce “How Much Can You Take?”
