Hell On Wheels

In Stockholm, the Swedish indie pop outfit Hell on Wheels assembled in 1994, founded by guitarist/vocalist Rickard Lindgren, bassist Åsa Sohlgren, and drummer Johan Risberg. Childhood neighbors on the same Oxelösund street, Lindgren and Sohlgren first connected with Risberg through Sohlgren in 1991; the rhythm-section pair later wed, after which the three relocated to the capital and formally announced their band. Since then Hell on Wheels has issued multiple EPs and singles plus its debut full-length, There Is a Generation of Handicapped People to Carry On, which appeared on the North of No South label in 2001. Oh My God What Have I Done arrived two years later.
