Emotive alternative pop marks the output of actress and vocalist Herizen Guardiola, who records simply as Herizen. The Come Over to My House EP served as her first release in 2018.

Miami, Florida, was the site of her 1996 birth into an artistic, multicultural household of Cuban and Jamaican lineage, where she was the daughter of reggae artist Johnny Dread and yoga instructor Venice Pink. Vocal performances began early, with onstage appearances alongside her father by the time she turned five, fostering familiarity with the catalogs of Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, the Beatles, and Nirvana. Acting pursuits soon followed and drew widespread notice in 2016 when she played aspiring singer Mylene Cruz in Baz Luhrmann’s television series The Get Down. Additional screen roles came in Dare Me and American Gods. Several collaborations with Absofacto preceded the 2018 arrival of her debut EP, Come Over to My House. In 2020 she issued the follow-up EP Demon, handling co-production duties across every track, among them the featured songs “Hell Boy” and “Range Rover.”
