Biography
In 2002, southern California's punishing death metal unit Inherit Disease formed in Ventura, driven by a goal to produce the genre's most "brutal, technical, original, and dissonant" iteration. Their opening two years focused on sharpening live execution, which yielded two demo releases that attracted notice from Los Osos-based indie Unique Leader Records. A subsequent contract led to the 2006 full-length debut Procreating an Apocalypse. Visceral Transcendence followed in 2010, and 2016 brought the third studio long player, Ephemeral, once more on Unique Leader.
