Biography
Formed in Chicago during 1994, Gorgasm emerged when guitarists Tom Leski and Tom Tangalos linked up with bassist Russ Powell and drummer Derek Hoffman following the dissolution of the area act Crematorium. Two years afterward, the group issued a six-track demo that highlighted its unrelenting ferocity together with exceptional velocity, and in 1998 delivered a complete album bearing the sensitively chosen title Stabwound Intercourse.
