Jade LeMac

Club-friendly pop singer and songwriter Jade LeMac crafts intimate yet often combative lyrics over polished, luminous production. Her breakthrough arrived via the streaming success of her first official single, 2021's "Constellations," after which she delivered the EPs Constellations and Confessions in 2023; an expanded edition of the second set then incorporated the self-directed 2024 single "Narcissistic."

Born in Vancouver, Canada, she first instructed herself on piano during sixth grade and later learned guitar through online lessons. In the closing years of the 2010s she amassed followers on various social platforms by posting clips of her dancing, singing, and daily experiences; footage of her performing original material eventually drew hundreds of thousands of views, prompting releases on the local independent imprint Monstercat.

While still a teenager she secured a deal with Arista and introduced herself officially with August 2021's "Constellations," a close-up track that traced a lover's body and echoed the bold sonic stance of Sia. The song accumulated tens of millions of streams and charted on streaming services, leading to additional material gathered on the Constellations EP in February 2023. Another set of songs surfaced as the Confessions EP that November, and a deluxe reissue the following March added the 2024 single "Narcissistic."
