Biography
Jesús Cifuentes, a musician from Spain, entered the local rock community in 1985 by performing on bass for the group Páramo. He subsequently became a member of Celtas Cortos and secured the top position in the Colectivo Eurofolk competition during 1986. The band's initial release, Salida de Emergencia, appeared three years afterward. During 1992, Cifuentes contributed to Oyster Band's track "Granite Years," which featured on their Deserters album. His debut solo effort, El Caimán Verde, arrived in 1995. By 1997, he was working alongside the regional ensemble Ixo Rai!. Cifuentes returned to Celtas Cortos in 1999 to produce the recording Tienes La Puerta Abierta.
