Biography
Karlos Rosé blends bachata, R&B, and pop as a New York singer who arrived in the United States from the Dominican Republic at the age of six. Although he had sung from the moment speech was possible, his professional path opened at eighteen with a spot on the Divertido con Jochy television program. The appearance secured him a contract with Machete Music under Universal Latino distribution. His first single, a version of Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are,” appeared on multiple charts in 2012, joined there by “Infiel” in 2013 and, across the next several years, three additional charting singles and videos—“Infiel” (2013), “Niña de Mi Corazón” (2014), and “Mi Lugar Es Contigo.” The singer’s debut album, Geminis, followed in 2015.
