Hailing from Germany, Klaas Gerling—known professionally as Klaas—works as a DJ and producer specializing in high-energy house and electro productions. His profile rests primarily on the remixes “Infinity 2008” and “Cafe Del Mar” from 2016. Born in 1981 in Cologne, he first drew notice with “Infinity 2008,” a reworking of Guru Josh’s 1989 original that became a club staple and topped multiple European charts in 2008. The following year brought comparable success via the single “Our Own Way.” Further releases arrived with “Downtown” and “Freak,” the latter a 2010 collaboration with Bodybangers. Over time he has delivered remixes for Armand Van Helden, Stromae, Eric Morillo, and additional artists. In 2016 he teamed with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on reinterpretations of “Ocarina,” “Universal Nation,” and “Cafe Del Mar,” the last of which reached the Belgian Top 30. That same year he released “Far Away” featuring Jelle Van Dael, “Feel” featuring Steve Noble, and “Hungover by a Dream” with Lorela. Subsequent singles included “Riot” and “Don't Talk” in 2017, followed by “Love Your Life,” “Get Down,” and “Ok Without You” in 2018. In 2019 he joined London Beat for “I've Been Thinking About You,” which peaked at number 25 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
