Biography
Albert Cabrera and Tony Moran launched their careers as producers and DJs under the collective name Latin Rascals by becoming prominent figures in New York City’s emerging club circuit during the early 1980s, where they presented an influential continuous-mix program on a local dance radio outlet. The pair later crafted multiple Latin freestyle dance recordings, among them projects for TKA and the Cover Girls. Mixmasters Vol. 1 appeared in 1999, presenting reworkings of assorted Latin Rascals mixes by a range of DJs.
