Biography
Laura Omloop, the yodeling children's pop singer born in 1999, gained recognition at age ten by representing Belgium at the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Her take on "Zo Verliefd" landed in fourth spot, Belgium's strongest finish to date, after which she joined the jury in 2010, issued the follow-up single "Stapelgek Op Jou" alongside debut album Verliefd, and recorded the theme for the animated series YooHoo & Friends. She next joined Flemish pop singer Stan Van Samang for the 2011 single "Zijn We Alleen," a track that also surfaced on her second studio album, Wereld Vol Kleuren.
