Biography
Emerging from the breakup of twelve-member K-pop act Loona, the South Korean quintet Loossemble—an amalgam of the parent group’s name and the word “assemble”—gathers ex-Loona members HyunJin, YeoJin, ViVi, Go Won, and HyeJu. The act returned to the stage beneath the CTDENM banner in 2023, unveiling its self-titled debut mini-album and offering a fresh sonic palette built on the earlier ensemble’s signature textures.
After Loona fractured amid protracted label conflicts and contractual turmoil, its twelve members were redistributed across several new rosters and agencies; Loossemble became one such offshoot. In September 2023 the five-piece delivered the eight-song Loossemble on CTDENM, a seamless extension of the original collective’s sonic identity and narrative threads. Fronted by the single “Sensitive,” the project reached number six on the Korean album chart. Four months later, in April 2024, the group issued its follow-up mini-album One of a Kind, driven by the buoyant title track “Girls’ Night” and peaking at number five on the same ranking.
