Berlin-based Finnish singer Lxandra crafts introspective, piano-led material that blends folk textures with electronic pop. Attention first arrived via her 2019 EP Another Lesson Learned, followed by the 2021 album Careful What I Dream Of. In 2023 she placed “Something to Lose” in the running to become Finland’s Eurovision entrant.

Alexandra Lehti entered the world in 1996 on the compact island of Suomenlinna. An early fascination with music led her, during her teenage years, to Tölö Specialiseringsgymnasium, Helsinki’s specialized music secondary school. Once studies concluded she moved permanently to Berlin to pursue a professional path. Working independently, she issued the debut singles “Flicker” and “Hush Hush Baby” in 2017. The next year brought a cover of U2’s “Pride (In the Name of Love)” for an Amazon trailer promoting the series The Man in the High Castle, along with the original track “Dig Deep,” marking her first release on a major label. Those two songs, together with the fan favorite “Swimming Pools,” formed the October 2019 Vertigo Berlin EP Another Lesson Learned. Lxandra’s atmospheric full-length debut Careful What I Dream Of arrived in June 2021 after sessions in Los Angeles. She returned in June 2023 by entering “Something to Lose” in Finland’s Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2023, aiming to represent her native country at Eurovision. The single lingered for several weeks on Finnish pop charts before placing sixth in the contest.
