Canada's Marc Mysterio works as a sought-after DJ, songwriter, and producer whose output centers on electronic, dance, and house styles. Born in Quebec, he launched his DJ career near 2006 and drew the attention of Paris-based producer Sandy Vee. The pair joined forces on “Let Loose,” a cut that earned modest airplay. That exposure prompted Mysterio to deliver a remix of David Guetta’s “Delirious.” Building on the momentum, he issued additional singles that found favor, among them “Answer This” with vocalist Linda Newman and “Roll wit It” with vocalist Chris Willis.

Mysterio’s visibility climbed sharply in 2009 when multiple leading U.S. hip-hop and dance stations adopted his remix of Daft Punk’s “One More Time.” The same year he teamed with vocalist Samantha Fox for the new track “Tomorrow.” Another release, “Shout it Out,” had been planned to include R&B singer Brandy yet surfaced in 2010 instead with Canadian singer Craig Smart. Two years after that, Mysterio entered a worldwide recording agreement with Sony Music and continued issuing material, highlighted by 2012’s “Everything Is All Wrong” featuring Karl Wolf and 2013’s “Booty on the Floor” featuring Flo Rida. One year later he reworked Crash Test Dummies’ 1993 single “Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm,” an effort that sparked further work with the group on the 2016 track “Promised Land.”
