Michael Calfan, a DJ hailing from France, crafts high-energy fusions of driving EDM and soulful house that seek both to lift listeners’ moods and ignite movement on the dance floor. Standout releases such as the global 2015 success “Treasured Soul” center on heartfelt vocal performances, inviting piano lines, and insistent rhythms.

He first surfaced in Paris during 2008, delivering forceful electro-house sets shaped by the styles of Daft Punk and Modjo. Early productions like “Twisted Bitch” and “The Bomb” served as intense dance-floor openers. By 2011 he shifted toward pronounced EDM builds on cuts including “Black Rave” and “Resurrection,” echoing the atmosphere associated with Swedish House Mafia. Around 2014 he began weaving in rich R&B and gospel elements, following paths previously explored by Avicii and Moby. A consistent run of singles launched with “Prelude,” each intended to raise spirits while prompting physical response.
