Marilina Ross

Born to a Spanish family that had put down roots in South America, Argentinean singer/songwriter and actress Marilina Ross entered the world in that setting. From a very young age she felt drawn to the stage, making her first on-stage appearance while still in elementary school. Appearances singing and dancing on various local television programs soon followed, after which she joined the theater ensemble Gente de Teatro. The multi-talented artist chose to relocate to Spain in 1976 and came back to her homeland four years later. In 1980 she resolved to launch a solo recording career; after signing with CBS she issued her first album, Soles, in 1982 and followed it with A Mis Queridos Seres the next year.
