Biography
Born to the accomplished soccer player Barry Venison, Max Morgan set out to mirror his father's path on the pitch until a severe growth spurt at age thirteen forced him off the field. Plagued by sore joints and throbbing knees, he set athletic drills aside for a time and turned instead to music, quickly gaining command of both guitar and piano while sharpening his singing voice. Repeated relocations eventually carried the Liverpool native down to southern California, where he established himself in Los Angeles and began building a career as a pop/rock solo performer. Marc Tanner—president of Chime Entertainment and himself a onetime recording artist—chose to helm Morgan's first album, resulting in Interrupting the Silence, which was scheduled to appear in early 2009.
