Biography
Hailing from London, Minke drew initial notice by merging alt-rock and R&B elements with a feminist lens on her 2017 single "Gold Angel." Written in Nashville alongside the Kooks' Paul Garred, the track earned rapid praise and streaming traction after its March launch because of its thoughtful lyrics about the state of the world for women. Minke, Garred, and "Gold Angel" producer Rory Andrew further completed an EP that displayed the singer/songwriter's guitar skills together with her pop leanings, scheduled for later in 2017.
