Biography
Nicholas Robert Danenza Hissom, an electronic pop producer and singer/songwriter, entered the world in London as the son of American parents. His formative years unfolded in England, where schooling in Switzerland introduced him to diverse cultures at an early age. At Institut Le Rosey he began crafting songs alongside classmates. In 2012 he contacted the Denver-area DJs and producers Manufactured Superstars, resulting in the debut of their first joint single, "Killin' Tonight," that year and Hissom's initial tour with the duo. Produced by Mick Schultz (Rihanna, Jeremih), the follow-up single "If I Die Young" fused propulsive house energy within a pop framework. Hissom then signed with Larry Rudolph (Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus) and commenced recording his debut EP. Love Energy arrived in 2016, led by the single "Where You Are."
